1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies, including tracking pixels and local storage, can support site features, measurement, and advertising. They may process online identifiers, IP addresses, and interaction information. This information is not necessarily anonymous.
2. How we use cookies
MindServing uses essential technologies for security and consent preferences, and optional technologies for website statistics and advertising measurement. Google Analytics helps measure visits and interactions. Meta Pixel helps measure advertising performance and attribution and may support advertising audiences where configured.
Purchases take place in our Payhip store. Payhip and the payment provider shown at checkout apply their own notices to their services.
3. Types of cookies we use
Essential: technologies needed for security, consent choices, and essential features. Statistics: Google Analytics identifiers used to measure visits. Marketing: Meta identifiers used for advertising measurement and related configured purposes.
The core entries below were reviewed against the Complianz inventory on October 10, 2026. Optional entries depend on your choices and interactions. The table is not a claim that every visitor receives every cookie; administration cookies and cookies on external checkout or social platforms are separate.
| Cookie | Provider / category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cmplz_banner-status | MindServing / essential | Records whether the consent banner was dismissed | 365 days |
| cmplz_consented_services, cmplz_functional, cmplz_marketing, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_statistics | MindServing / essential | Stores consent choices for categories and services | 365 days |
| cmplz_policy_id | MindServing / essential | Records the consent-policy version | 365 days |
| _ga | Google Analytics / statistics | Supports visitor and page-view measurement | Up to 2 years |
| _fbp | Meta / marketing | Supports advertising measurement and visit attribution | Up to 3 months |
GA4 also uses property-specific cookies with names beginning _ga_. Meta may use _fbc to associate visits with an ad click. Their operation and duration depend on the integration and provider settings. See Google’s cookie information and Meta’s Cookies Policy.
Login and administration cookies are relevant to signed-in users, not automatically to every reader. Browser controls show the cookies stored on your own device and allow you to delete them.
4. Third-party cookies
Payhip and payment providers: support checkout, delivery, security, and payment processing on their services. Read Payhip’s Privacy and Cookies Policy and the notice of your checkout payment provider.
Google Analytics: processes online identifiers and interactions for statistics. Read Google’s Privacy Policy.
Meta Pixel: supports advertising measurement and related configured purposes. Read Meta’s Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts: external font requests can disclose technical information, including your IP address. An external request is not automatically a cookie. Social media links take you to separate services governed by their own notices.
5. Optional technologies and your privacy
Optional statistics and marketing technologies are subject to the consent controls. You can accept, deny, or choose categories. Rejecting optional technologies should not prevent you from reading educational content or product descriptions.
Advertising identifiers can support attribution and audience-related processing. We therefore do not describe this site as free from advertising pixels or marketing tracking.
6. Your cookie choices
Use the Complianz banner to accept optional technologies, deny them, or view preferences and choose categories. Use Manage consent to review or change choices later, including on mobile devices.
Our default consent configuration uses the GDPR model for worldwide visitors: optional statistics and marketing require an opt-in. Withdrawing consent controls future optional processing handled by the site; it does not undo processing already lawfully carried out.
You can also view, delete, or block cookies through browser settings. Previously stored third-party cookies may need to be removed through browser or provider controls. Blocking essential technologies can affect necessary features.
7. Cookies & GDPR
Online identifiers can be personal data even when they do not include your name. Where consent is required, it must be given before optional technologies operate. Continued browsing is not consent.
See the MindServing Privacy Policy for our purposes, providers, retention, contact details, and your data-protection rights. Payhip and checkout payment providers have separate notices for their own processing.
8. Changes to this policy
We update this policy and its core cookie information when relevant technologies change. Updates to this notice do not automatically give consent to a new processing purpose.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes to our service providers, or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies.
